Yellow oyster mushrooms are small to medium in size with caps averaging 2-6 centimeters in diameter and are attached to a short or nonexistent stem. The thin, dry, smooth caps are daffodil yellow, semi-circular, and look like small petals clustered and layered into a small bouquet. The flesh is thin and white, with a mild taste and without a strong smell.
Can keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Store in paper. Mushrooms need to breath

Yellow Oyster
The Yellow Oyster Mushroom, sometimes called the Golden Oyster. A lovely golden color with a noticeable citrus flavor.
The color is lost on cooking, a downside to all the brightly colored mushrooms of this genus.Currently pickup only at the Ilderton Farmers Market until November.
