The mushroom often grows in clusters or large bouquets.
The underside of the mushroom has the deepest pink color, as the spores are white. The mushroom can be quite thick and meaty or delicate and thin, depending on growing conditions.
Pink Oysters are delicate and their shelf life is somewhat short. Store in paper. Use within a couple of days. They will lose their pink colour when cooked. Has a bacon like flavour.

One cup of oyster mushrooms has approximately 65 calories, 10 grams of carbohydrates, less than 1 gram of fat, and about 5 grams of protein. They are high in several vitamins and minerals including potassium, magnesium, and folate, Riboflavin, Potassium, Vitamin B6, B Vitamins,
Folic acid (folate), Magnesium, Vitamin C and D, Pantothenic acid, Amino acids

Pink Oyster
The flavor of the pink oyster mushroom has been described as meaty and fishy. Just like most mushrooms it is quite umami. Its texture is both meaty and chewy. When fried until crispy, it resembles bacon or even ham. However, when it is raw, it has a sour taste.
